Amber spent the first half of her career working as part of multidisciplinary teams at non-profit agencies to serve children and families in the community. Seeing the growing shortage of private providers in the area\, Amber decided to transition to private practice and has been serving individual clients for the past 10 years. Amber blends traditional therapy techniques with yoga and meditative elements to offer her clients a whole-person approach to healing. She enjoys fostering a sense of curiosity in her clients that enables them to identify their areas of challenge and their greatest strengths. Amber welcomes any opportunity to be of service through collaborating with other professionals or organizations who share in the mission of helping others and strengthening community.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAndrea Deepe\, CEO at ASCEND Mental Wellness\n\nA dynamic organization dedicated to supporting individuals with mental health needs in Warren and Washington Counties\, ASCEND offers a range of services\, including residential care\, clinical support\, care management\, peer services\, and dual recovery programs. As a leader\, Andrea is known for her heart-centered approach\, focus on results\, and her ability to use insightful analysis and teamwork to drive organizational growth\, improve programs\, and implement best practices. She is deeply hands-on in her leadership style and strives to empower others to achieve their highest potential.\n\n\n\nBefore stepping into the CEO role\, Andrea gained over ten years of experience in quality assurance\, advocacy\, and corporate compliance\, working with both private nonprofits and the State of New York. Her work has centered on supporting individuals with mental illness\, developmental disabilities\, and substance use disorders. Andrea's early career in direct care led her to the advocacy and quality assurance sectors\, where she has worked tirelessly to improve services and care for individuals\, regardless of their physical or mental health challenges.\n\n\n\nIn addition to her role at ASCEND\, Andrea is a committed leader in her community. She is the Board President of the Hudson Mohawk Area Health Education Center\, an Executive Board Member of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce\, and a Board Director for both the Mental Health Association of New York State and the Northwinds Integrated Health Network IPA.\n\n\n\nAndrea holds a degree from Liberty University and resides in Saratoga County with her husband. They cherish spending time with their children and grandchildren.\n\n\n\n\nBert Weber\, Co-Founder of Common Roots Brewing and President of the Common Roots Foundation\n\nBert is the father in the father/son brewing team. Growing up with parents from Germany\, good beer was part of his family heritage. Upon retiring from a 30-year career as a high school teacher\, Bert was ready for a new adventure. His background in horticulture and design fueled the transformation of a warehouse building into our original brewery\, and the inviting atmosphere of the Biergarten and taproom are the direct products of Bert's creative vision.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBryan A. Flowers\, Kripalu YT-500\, RISE Facilitator\, and Mindful Outdoor Guide\, of Oakwise Soul\nOakwise Soul evolved to provide options for meeting the spiritual and holistic needs in our community that go beyond what traditional counseling offers. These practices\, tools\, and methods of coming together are designed to foster a sustainable and balanced method of working with all aspects of each individual. Being "Oakwise" is about meeting our needs in a resilient\, compassionate\, and grounded way through the resources inherently within us. Learning ways to root into body\, mind\, spirit\, and soul through ancient and modern practices provides a path toward peak functioning and wellbeing. Bryan offers programs in the Lower Adirondack Region. He has been in private practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2016. Bringing together over 20 years of holistic solo practice with nearly a decade of teaching in higher education and for professional organizations\, Bryan offers programs for the public through Oakwise Soul. This collection of carefully curated experiences spans options for groups gathering in offices\, on yoga mats\, and out in the hills of the Adirondack region. During these programs he brings together indigenous wisdom practices\, community building opportunities\, experiences for building wild wisdom\, and reflective inner journeys.\n\n\n\nMeet our moderator:\n\n\n\n\n\nJohn P. Lefner Jr.\, CEO-The Hyde Collection \n\nJohn has served in various executive leadership roles over the past 20+ years in the non-profit sector. John earned degrees from Champlain College in Criminal Justice and Education. During his career\, John has professionally served the missions of The Double H Ranch\, Saratoga Independent School\, as well as YMCA's in Florida\, Rhode Island\, and New York. John is an active community volunteer with past board participation for Wellspring and The New York State YMCA Foundation and currently serves on the board of Saratoga PLAN. John lives in bucolic Greenfield Center\, NY with his wife Dr. Jennifer Lefner\, daughters Sasha and Olivia\, and his dog Queenie. John enjoys golfing\, downhill skiing\, and cheering for the Florida Gators.
