The Adirondack Nonprofit Business Council (ANBC) invites you to our June Nonprofit Chat.
This month Mediation Matters will join us as we explore conflict styles, which highlight the different ways that people respond to conflict, explore pros and cons, the origins of our style, and how it shifts in a given situation. During this conversation, we will consider what it takes to shift into a different style and how our own style may conflict with others and add to a conflict situation. Takeaways include perspective taking, reflection, awareness of others, and an understanding of how different people approach conflict situations.
Mediation Matters is a Community Dispute Resolution Center and works with a variety of partners and systems to provide conflict prevention, community building and cohesion, conflict management, and responding to and repairing harm. This comes in a range of services from mediation, conflict coaching, restorative justice and practices, training and education, group facilitated dialogues, teambuilding, group development, and more.
Join us for this informational session, connections & collaboration!
