ABOUT DISC:
The Everything DiSC Workplace Profile Assessment is an outstanding tool that provides a comprehensive understanding of an individual's behavioral tendencies, effective communication styles, and preferred working dynamics. By participating in this assessment, attendees will gain a deeper self-awareness, unearthing their unique strengths and areas for improvement.

How to participate in the Veteran DiSC ASSESSMENT SEMINAR: 
Step 1. Register for Event- Must Include an email address! 
Step 2. Your assessment will be sent to the email submitted and takes about 20 minutes to complete.
Step 3. Your DiSC assessment will be logged automatically upon completion
Step 4. Attend Veteran DiSC Seminar to receive and review your personal results
   
During our 1-hour presentation, we will delve into the fascinating results generated from the assessments. As an Everything DiSC Authorized Partner and Certified Practitioner , Chris will guide attendees through an interactive discussion that explores various dimensions, helping participants interpret the assessment outcomes in relation to their professional and personal development.

VBN Vice Chair: Sergeant Major Christopher Thomas (U.S. Marine Corps, Retired)

Chris Thomas is the founder and owner of Elite 9 Veteran Talent Acquisition Services, LLC, a recruiting and management consulting firm located Upstate New York. He is a strategic and thoughtful senior executive leader with over 20 years of hands-on experience in the United States Marine Corps emphasizing innovation and creativity in solving complex problems.
 
He has proven superior success in developing and leading diverse talent acquisition teams that achieve outstanding results. Through human resource management concepts and innovative leadership methodologies he has delivered impactful results for managing large-scale organizations of several hundred personnel
 
Chris is a combat veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and is the treasurer of the Marine Corps League Memorial Detachment 2 located in Hudson Falls, NY.  He also sits on the Board of Directors for The VetVoice Foundation which empowers military Veterans to become civic leaders and policy advocates by providing the support, training, and tools they need to continue their service and find new missions at home.
 
Additionally, he holds a Master in Public Administration, is a Resilience-Team Building Leadership Professional Trainer, an adjunct instructor for the United States Marine Corps where he teaches professional leadership development and the graduate of numerous executive level leadership courses.

About the Veterans Business Network:
The purpose of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce?s Veterans Business Network is to promote and to serve the affinity group of Veteran and military service personnel,  veteran and military member sole proprietorships, and veteran and military service professional members of the ARCC and to encourage increased business and collaboration among its ranks.
 
By promoting the ARCC's four pillars of advocacy, education, connection and collaboration, we will have the ability to attract more veterans and military professionals to the ARCC with an intent to develop and track metrics that can be used by the ARCC to promote its support for veterans military service members in business, to support in collaboration the educational and mental health outreach and mission of other local veteran business communities, specifically, neighboring chambers, and to develop mentoring, educational and entrepreneurial opportunities for veterans and military service members while fostering growth opportunities with a focus on performance (revenue growth, employee growth, etc.) of service member-owned enterprises, military-owned sole proprietorships, and post-military professionals in the ARCC service area.
