BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER

Salary: $45,751 Fulltime with Benefits

Warren County is seeking a BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER. This is a non-competitive Civil Service position. Performs a variety of semi-skilled building repair and maintenance tasks; does related work as required. At the present time there are two positions available. One at located at Buildings & Grounds and One located at Parks and Recreation Fish Hatchery. Please specify when filling out your application

Minimum Qualifications: Two years of experience in either general building construction or maintenance work in one or more of the standard trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Possession of a Class D driver’s license at time of appointment.

Hiring preference will be given to the following conditions:
Good knowledge of modern buildings and grounds maintenance and repair practices; knowledge of the practices and techniques of one or more of the standard trades; mechanical aptitude; industry; good physical condition; dependability; manual dexterity.

Authority to fill this job vacancy is subject to the approval of the Board of Supervisors.
